This sculpture represents the proportions of the human body in the straight line of Leonardo da Vinci's 1490 drawing, Man of Vitruvius, emblematic allegory of humanism and man at the center of the world.
By diverting this recognized symbol with a pregnant woman, the work places the woman at the center of the world as a mother goddess or primordial goddess of fertility, with a strong message for gender equality.
