This sculpture represents an ancient Greek philosopher, symbol of the European ideal, that reflects in front of a China becoming the factory of the world. Despite trade tensions, the two blocks, West and East, laid the foundation for a strong partnership.

 

The work denounces unreasoned globalization and puts us in front of our responsibility as consumer and citizen. Our greedy economic development model compromises the future of our children, and reflects on our choices and contradictions.
